This dining chair – one of 14 – was made in solid mahogany with applied high gloss black lacquer finish, as it was for use outdoors on a motor yacht. The effect needed to be incredibly smart and tailored, so particular care was taken to fit the upholstery around the back and seat. In the end, the chairs looked fantastic and were a joy to sit in for extended periods of time.
